Let the thankfulness begin!

Facebook: the time leech, the productivity zapper, the braggart’s best friend, the modern day herald, the soap box, the trendsetter (of sorts), the bandwagon, the social network, and the thing we all love to hate (wait, that’s Wal-Mart).

Anyway, today I saw on Facebook something about posting things you are thankful for every day throughout the month of November up until Thanksgiving. Kind of like advent for Christmas, only not so much. I thought that was a good idea and would also be a good exercise for me. Praciticing gratitude.

We can all act like spoiled brats at times, can’t we?

Even though I complain and whine about how difficult my life can be as a SAHM, there are plenty of things I have to be thankful for. So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving and gratitude to God for all that He has given, I am going to write a post a day  until Thanksgiving with something that I am thankful for pertaining to the day.

There are not many rules to this, but I am going to try and avoid being thankful for the big things in life like friends, family, my kids, etc. That sounds terrible. What I mean is, I am quite obviously thankful for these things (I hope I tell them enough), so I’m going to be thankful for the little things.

Such as…caffeine.

Yes, today, I am thankful for caffeine. Coffee, cherry coke–today, they were my friends, and I am not sure how well I would have functioned without them.

Welp, I guess that’s it. See you tomorrow.
