Race Day!

Well, folks, I did it! I Ran a 10k yesterday morning 🙂 Didn’t do as well as I had wanted to time-wise, ( 1:01:56) but I felt good! Could have pushed myself a little more, though my knees and hips were hurting. Gotta get used to the mileage.

Now for a little break, and then begins the half marathon training. Holy Cow! Seriously. Not sure I’m ready for this guys…

P.S. Did I mention my husband works for Chick-fil-A? Probably not. Anyway, he does, and soon we are hoping to be owners of our own Chick-fil-A!

  1. Hips hurt! Knees Hurt! Good golly Ms. Molly, I’ve went through that years ago. However when you speak of “mileage” I can give you a bit of advice. When I was born God gave me just so many heartbeats. I’m not going to use mine up in excess by RUNNING! Just slow and easy for me. Hope you get to do your 1/2 marathon though.
    Love ya YFG

  2. I love Chick Fil A! My husband always talks about moving back North to start his own business. It’s a GREAT company!
